Which dogs does the brace fit?
The Wagra Knee Brace fits the rear (hind) knee and comes in S, M and L. Fit depends on your dog's thigh measurement and leg length rather than breed. Very short-legged breeds such as Dachshunds and Corgis usually can't get a secure fit.
How do I choose the right size?
Measure around the thickest part of your dog's back thigh, just above the knee, with a soft tape measure:
- S: 4.7–8.7 in (12–22 cm)
- M: 8.7–12.6 in (22–32 cm)
- L: 10.2–14.2 in (26–36 cm)
If the thigh is between 10.2 and 12.6 in, use the calf measurement to choose. See the full chart in our Size Guide, or send us your dog's measurements and breed and we'll help you pick.
What if it doesn't fit?
You have 30 days from delivery to return it, and return shipping is free. Or message us and we'll help you swap to the right size. Details are on our Shipping & Returns page.
Do I need one brace or two?
Each order includes one brace. If your dog needs support on both back legs, add two to your cart.
How long can my dog wear it?
Start with short sessions of 15 to 30 minutes so your dog can get used to it, and check their skin for redness or rubbing. Take the brace off for sleep and when your dog is unsupervised.
Can a brace replace surgery or vet care?
No. A knee brace provides support and stability, but it isn't a medical treatment. If your dog is limping, has a ligament injury, or is recovering from surgery, talk to your vet before using any brace.
How do I clean it?
Hand wash in cool water with mild soap and let it air dry. Avoid the dryer, which can damage the fabric and straps.
