Size Guide
Find your dog's fit
A good fit makes all the difference. The brace should feel snug and supportive without pinching or sliding down.
Size chart
| Size | Thigh (above the knee) | Calf (below the knee) | Brace length |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | 4.7–8.7 in (12–22 cm) | 2.8–5.5 in (7–14 cm) | 7.1 in (18 cm) |
| M | 8.7–12.6 in (22–32 cm) | 4.7–6.3 in (12–16 cm) | 8.7 in (22 cm) |
| L | 10.2–14.2 in (26–36 cm) | 5.5–7.1 in (14–18 cm) | 11.4 in (29 cm) |
Measurements may vary by about 1 cm.
How to measure
- Have your dog stand naturally on all four legs.
- Thigh: wrap a soft tape measure around the thickest part of the back thigh, just above the knee.
- Calf: wrap the tape around the leg just below the knee.
- Match both numbers to the chart above.
Between sizes?
- If the thigh is between 10.2 and 12.6 in (26–32 cm), it fits both M and L. Use the calf measurement to decide: under 5.5 in (14 cm) choose M, over 6.3 in (16 cm) choose L. In between, message us and we'll help.
- Still not sure? Send us your dog's thigh and calf measurements, weight and breed, and we'll recommend a size before you order.
Please note: fit depends on measurements and leg length rather than breed. Very short-legged breeds such as Dachshunds and Corgis usually can't get a secure fit.
Fit check
- You should be able to slide one finger under the straps.
- The brace shouldn't twist or slip when your dog walks.
- Check for redness after the first few wears.
